To be short: GDP is not the measure of the standard of living. Not even GDP / capita is.
So let me tell you how it works you cunt.
GDP is basically consumption + govt. spending + exports - imports. Immigration increases GDP for the following reason: a good amount of immigrants are living on social welfare, increasing govt spending, and another part of them works very cheaply, increasing productivity and thus exports. On the long term however, their presence will push wages downwards, and the extra burden on the social welfare system will force governments either to abolish social welfare, or to increase taxes massively. Needless to say that both would be basically political suicide, so the goverments will probably take up large loans from IMF to sustain the illusion of a welfare state. This however, paves the way for an eventual collapse.
And these are just the economic factors, don't get me started on the social ones...
