Rain isn't a climate, and a desert isn't weather. For fucks sake, how are you this stupid? I understand this is a difficult concept but you are not a climatologist so don't try to provide input on a scientific matter when you have little understanding on atmospheric processes, weather patterns, and what the definition of a climate is. When a glass is full to the rim and there is a tiny hole in the bottom letting out water at a consistent rate while there is water being poured in at the same rate it is leaving the glass will stay full forever, but when you take more water and decide to pour it in there the glass is going to overflow. That is the issue with the carbon cycle and how we fucked with it, adding more greenhouse gases is going to affect climate substantially because there is a natural process we have interfered with.

"Human-caused climate change" is what's not real. H2O is 95% of "greenhouse gases." CO2 doesn't matter nearly as much as scientists think. There is no profit in cutting back emissions, we have no economically viable way drastically change our current course. independent research that has been peer reviewed shows that the PPM of CO2 in the atmosphere (which has doubled from around 200 in the 1950's to over 400 today) has had a correlating affect on extreme temperature/weather patterns. Cutting back emissions is costly, but losing our coastal cities is going to cost us a hell of a lot more. These energy companies are funding Republicans because they will deny human involvement with global warming, that is special interests ruining this country. Clouds have always been there and the amount of h2o isn't changing. It self regulates. So if we have roughly the same amount of h2o now as say a few hundred years ago, the warming must be down to something else. co2 we are adding to the atmosphere and have increased its concentration by 40% since the industrial revolution.

The dishonesty behind this is astounding. The "scientist" Mike Mann literally spliced together two separate sets of data. When the tree ring data continued to decline into the modern era, he realized it wasn't showing what he wanted it to show. So instead he spliced on thermometer readings for the last 100 years.

He literally combined two dissimilar data sets to get the result he wanted. He then refused to share his data with other scientists when called on it.

Again, I'm not saying the temperature has not been rising slightly. There's just no evidence that it's human caused and we're still cooler than the Medieval warm period.
