Do you deal with scammers at your door? I just moved into a townhouse in the city and even though it's a nice street, I still deal with scum of the earth.

Last night a nigger came to my house real late, like 11:30. I heard a knock at the door and yelled WHO IS IT? and some guy said "your neighbor". Open it up to find the nigger, probably 5 foot 9, thin build, maybe late 50s. Seemed like a nice enough guy- Said he moved here from Alabama, was a janitor at the nearby school, and was locked out of his house, needed $4 to pay the locksmith. He kept going on with his story and it sounded weird, plus it was almost midnight

I said, "you live right next door?" and when I found out "right next door" was actually "the house down the block" the story began to fall apart.

So I told him no and started to shut the door. He was very insistent like "man you can google my name, you can look me up, i'm not gonna steal yo money". I said, I don't know you, sorry man. He called me a racist something like "it's because I'm black... this neighborhood has changed" and left. A couple minutes I walked around the block to the house next door and saw nobody there. Apparently after talking to neighbors this guy has tried this before and someone actually caught him back in 2011 dressed in black in the process of breaking into their garage. Lots of people know about him supposedly.

Anyone else deal with shit like this? Lets hear some good "living in the city" stories. Should I buy a gun?
