Why people want /pol/ deleted, and things to come with /his/

No.313287 ViewReplyReportDelete
There's been a flurry of threads calling for the deletion of /pol/. Nothing new.
There are a group of people on 4chan that want to be able to tell their friends they go on 4chan. They don't want people to think they're racists and Nazis.
These people are the worst contributors to the site. The reason /pol/ is a right wing and racist board is because those people made the best OC, had the best arguments, and generally contributed more and higher quality things to the board than the liberals.
So now we're going to have /his/. Already those people are complaining that it's going to be /pol/ 2.0. If you don't want that, make better threads. Contribute better OC. Be...right?
Also general /his/ guidelines and comfy thread.

Is there a setting to remove this last part of the URL whenever I browse?

Before my browser history only displayed 4chan threads by their number, which alone means nothing when the thread is deleted. But now the URL actually gives the text from the post, which compromises browsing privacy.

Maybe that was the intention, I don't know. But there's got to be a fix to it.
