>>310134Well I noticed that I hated having to go into different folders to find every image/gif that I wanted to use so I just renamed all 200 images/gifs that I had previously saved into my new system. 5577 files later and I haven't looked back.
All I do is make a prefix for everything I'm looking for that gets more specific the more characters you've put in. I'll use pic related as an example:
Let's say I want to find a comic made by a /fit/izen about retards coming into his home gym during the New Year (people's new year's resolutions to get fit). I know it's from 4chan say I type 4chan. I also know that someone on /fit/ made the comic so I'll add in "fitboard" to differentiate from other boards. Then, since it's a comic I'll get more specific and add "comic." Then it's just a matter of scrolling for 5-6 images based off the content of comic.
So far it's worked for me perfectly and since my rate of saving a new image went down significantly after 2013 (grew up a bit and stopped saving as much dumb shit), I can see myself keeping this folder for as long as I have a computer.
