Why does /int/ still exist?
>>>/int/49992680Just an example.
As fascinating as it is to see a bunch of conspiracy-addled weirdos gather in one place, it's hard to admit /int/ serves any sort of useful purpose. While some language and culture discussion does occur, it's drowned out by memes, shitposting, generals, and /pol/ crossboarders who render some topics unable to be discussed.
I think the nature of the topic itself is what attracts these people, similar to why /new/ and /pol/ became neonazi havens. Maybe it's possible to have the board serve its intended purpose, but I doubt 4chan has the resources to apply the heavy moderation it needs.
