There's been a flurry of threads calling for the deletion of /pol/. Nothing new. There are a group of people on 4chan that want to be able to tell their friends they go on 4chan. They don't want people to think they're racists and Nazis. These people are the worst contributors to the site. The reason /pol/ is a right wing and racist board is because those people made the best OC, had the best arguments, and generally contributed more and higher quality things to the board than the liberals. So now we're going to have /his/. Already those people are complaining that it's going to be /pol/ 2.0. If you don't want that, make better threads. Contribute better OC. Be...right? Also general /his/ guidelines and comfy thread.
Now that Hiroyuki Nishimura has taken over 4chan, I'd like to re-propose a suggestion I've made in the past;
Each board's home page should be the catalog page.
Giving regular users and visitors a quick and easy to see layout of what kinda discussions are happening, would immediately cut down on the number of duplicate threads (something /out/ continually suffers from) and would encourage on-topic discussion, as threads wouldn't quickly get pushed down the line by shitposting (something /tv/ continually suffers from) and more people would have a chance to get involved in them.
What the fuck is this shit, you grease assholes? I posted a roll thread on /b/ and I got a fucking warning and this edgy message? Who the fuck is responsable for this? Who is the slimmy crazy butch ass bastard who just signed his own damn death warrant? Roll threads are literally half of /b/. What the fuck is this fucking shit? I demand explanations
Can we add the option to be able to post without a flags on /int/? Anytime I make a constructive or insightful post or thread everyone ignores it and instead derails the discussion by spamming me with their new favorite meme (you know the one) simply because of my nationality.
This is a petition to make posting political bullshit about feminism, click bait articles, and gamergate a bannable offense on /v/.
The board is constantly flooded with that bullshit that has nothing to do with videogames or its culture.
It's an extreme minority of political extremists on both sides who constantly post useless twitter garbage and clickbait articles that end up with 500 posts of shitposting.
The janitors and mods have been absolutely shit tier when it comes to dealing with these threads.
I understand that this place is about freedom more than anything else and that's why I love this place but these threads have gone too far to the point where they've turned /v/ into /b/ 2.0.
If they want to discuss their political bullshit, we have /pol/ and /b/ for that.
