Why aren't filters working?

Okay so I tried entering the tripcode exactly as I was told to but nothing happened. I tried checking the different boxes and STILL NOTHING. What is it I'm doing wrong? What am I not doing right?

I made a greasemonkey script that filters all tripfag posts without you having to manually add them by hiding the name and trip and deleting the content of the post so all you see is that some tripfag posted but you can't see who they are or what they posted.
It also filters any anon that replies to a tripfag in the same way.

Trip fags don't bother me, trapfags do, I go throw l through NSFW boards a lot.... so gives you am idea but it removes fur posts and trap post then I'm interested

but how would you do that without just having a big list of all their names and trips?

Or do you have in mind something like filtering their post if they have a trip and their post contains certain words as well?

Of course tripfags want people who dislike them to just anonymize them so that they'll treat them just as they would treat any other anon and they can keep on being tripfaggots.

I remember a fellow /b/ro posted a filter that removed traps and fur threads. It was such a perfect filter but I lost it. Since then I started to do my own but saw flaws and fixed them bit by bit. Still new fag at filters but I'm I'm getting to understand them better. IF anyone has filters to share that would be great, I can share mine but they aren't the best but cover most of what a user wouldn't want to see

Okay so I managed to filter, but it still shows the tripfags' name but not the post itself, as opposed to making them completely invisible like I'd hoped. Oh well.
