The option to Sage your posts is something that was completely lost to 4chan culture over the years.
For a big while it was misused as shit, every board sans a few like /jp/ treated it like a downvote and it didn't accomplish its goal, but now I feel it's even worst. At least when people were misusing it they weren't bumping shit topics. After it became invisible it completely died out culture wise (as in people stopped spamming "SAGESAGESAGE" which admittedly was good) and new posters which we had a bunch of since are completely unaware it even exists.
And such bait topics which get a bunch of replies on numerous boards go sage-less because users are unaware of the system. If many were made aware they had the option to reply but not bump the thread I feel they would use it.
Thus, I ask, can the admin team make the feature relevant again? Something like the picture related, a little box toggle with a brief explanation to show users that the feature still exists and should be used accordingly. Kinda like spoilering images work, you have a checkbox there and you click it.
I'm not asking to make it visible again, just make it relevant again. A small change like this could go a long way to solve many board problems.
