/tv/ moderation & you

No.300909 ViewReplyReportDelete
What the FUCK is the deal with the moderation on /tv/? Why does the janitor/mod feel the need to delete on topic threads where everyone is getting along and talking about board relevant content, while off topic pure shitposting threads can stay with no issue?

What are they trying to do to this board? /a/ and /co/ rejects can post the same threads day after day with no issues whatsoever, but if you post a picture of an actress your post gets deleted and you get banned. /pol/ can shitpost as much as they want under the guise of John Oliver/Donald Trump threads, and as soon as you enter the thread it's just off topic /pol/ faggots talking about stuff that isn't suited for /tv/ in the slightest. Interracial porn threads get spammed daily/nightly and will stay up for roughly an hour before getting deleted, but if you start a thread about actors you like in the same time frame, your thread will instantly get deleted and you'll most likely get banned for some bullshit reason.

What happened to my dear board? /tv/ used to have it's own distinct identity, and now it's /b/lite with television shows and capeshit. Pic related, I thread about fading careers I started got deleted even though it was completely on topic, yet a thread about some YouTube e-list 'movie reviewer' currently has 200+ replies and is growing. Why is this allowed?

I truly don't understand why talking about actors on a board about film can get you banned but if you talk about anime or politics your thread won't get touched and it'll reach 300+ posts.
