Anybody out there would be able to tell you that one of the most iconic pieces of animation and film is Steamboat Willie. It was not only the first released Mickey Mouse cartoon, but it was the first cartoon with synchronized sound. And even before we have a cast of characters such as Oswalt the Lucky Rabbit, Felix the Cat, Gertie the Dinosaur, Bimbo the Dog and more. In their legacy, not only the cast of Disney characters, but the Looney Toons like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, Hanna Barbera's Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear and Topcat, to 80s and 90s hits like Thundercats, Ducktales and yes, even My Little Pony.

Now, let's go switch gears for a second. Imagine if you will a world where someone created a hentai board, a board where anyone could post and share images from any manga or anime they wanted. BUT, for whatever reason, any and all mention of robots was banned. No androids, no body mods, no mechs, no machines, nothing. And not just mechs, but things relating to mechs. No Gundam characters, no Mazinger or Evangelion. Now this isn't without cause, in this particular world mech fans have a notoriety online as being some of the most sensitive provoking little idiots ever. Some on this board, seeing this site as a fortress against their sort of internet drama, said that this rule was necessary. So, given this scenario, wouldn't you agree?

No, because that's ridiculous. The very first anime was Astro Boy, robots are a part of japanese pop culture, how can you leave something out like that over not wanting to moderate your own board for drama?

Is it a false equivalence? Well, I don't know, that world doesn't exist. But personally, given that you want to make a board for porn of western cartoons, banning bestiality and furry is really fucking stupid.
