How does anyone find out about 4chan?
I'm only here because facebook pages i like talk about 4chan and my friend told me i should keep coming here.

I always heard about how bad 4chan was from news stories. I always thought it was this bad. horrid, never to go place. (which I later realized was mainly just /b/ /r9k/ and sometimes /pol/)

I don't know when I started going here regularly, but I think I started lurking /mu/ and /g/ and started posting a little after that. I wanna say late 2012.

I came to /b/ in 2006, after finding out about it through YTMND. Then I migrated to /v/ and various other boards by 2008. I havent been back to /b/ in ages.

I didnt come to 4chan for about 4 years from 2010 to 2014, then I made a random thread about Edge of Tomorrow on /tv/ after webms were allowed using the first webm I ever made, and I was pleasantly surprised to see everyone loved it. Then I started making more webms and went to /wsg/ when they allowed audio.

it's too bad /tv/ is turning into such a shithole. The moderation there is really going overboard right now, just deleting everything.. and so we have tons of butthurt ban-evading anons spamming with more shitposting than ever before

I was the type to think /b/ was representative of the whole site

I didn't start posting here til 2013, sort of a last resort after depression and other mental illness took so much of my other joys away
Social anxiety really got in the way of participating on mainstream forums and such; nothing really felt right, so I guess I ended up here

I've met some other beautiful broken people here, so it's not been all bad
