Should generals be banned by the global rules (obviously excludes /vg/)? I don't think there is any legitimate reason why they should be allowed they take up space and are porn to becoming circlejerks and chatrooms for the regular users. It also isolates them from the rest of the board while still taking up space in the catalog with a constant thread. There are few postives other than to contain spam which isn't an issue if mods do their jobs.
