Hello /r/, I'm trying to find the author of this comic but it's proving incredibly difficult.

Reverse image searches essentially show only tweets and tumblr reposts that originate from one deleted tumblr post by user frankbowers, who is an artist, but uses a different style as it seems and posts a lot of other people's stuff. I asked them, but no reply so far.
