Explain this shit, /r/

lately whenever I enter a captcha, the box always goes too far to the right and is stuck in that position. If I try scrolling to the right the window becomes infinite in length. The only solution I've found to this is maximizing the screen enough that I can eventually reach the "verify" button, but only by scrolling all the way back to the top of the screen. Is anyone else experiencing this? How do I fix it?
