Greetings /r9k/,

I'm the guy who made the toad-powered piss bottle thread last week - many of you seemed interested in seeing more of the troll cave I dug so I made a video showing it from the inside and outside:

Most of you would probably have a hard time fitting in it (hue hue) but I'm a manlet (a literal dwarf if you count the pickaxe) so I can go in there to get out of the rain or away from normies.

this is too weird. Anyways, you should dig out a raised platform suitable as a bed or couch. Use a hand axe to chop away those roots. make a shallow pit to bury those tools when you're not around, as they're a dead give away. I'd also suggest pushing back the roof profile as it is still too obvious- more on top would also be useful.

Dig your firepit Down so it has a lower profile. I'd also recommend you find away to obscure the entrance

what actual supplies do you have?

I'd recommend a gun, water purifier, insulated sleeping bag, money for canned shit etc. Woods life is rough and can be done in the short term, but can really fuck you up in the long run

If you're gonna do that, do it right. And actually make use of the little time you have. Go to survivalistboards or somewhere similar and read up. After reading up a little you should start practicing, it might all look simple when read but it isn't. As for gear there is a lot of things you would need, so I'm just gonna say a decent axe/hatchet for starters because it's almost start of november.

There is a place called the Herkimer Diamond Mines near where I grew up. The rock face of the hill was soft enough that you could chisel deep into it with hand tools.

If you knew anything about erosion you'd know that roots like the roots shown in the video hold the dirt in place. I literally had to pickaxe and axe through that dirt to make the cave, even though it looks like you could just shovel it.
