>>23865069>What's y'all robots' opinion on guns? The right to defend themselves, family/friends, and property should be looked upon as a basic human right. Gun control should be abolished worldwide, and any infringement on a free person's right to arms should be looked upon as a human rights violation. The only exception I would give to that are people that have demonstrated severe mental incompetence or have proven themselves to otherwise be a constant danger to society, but those types of people should either be separated from society, killed, or unallowed to be in society unsupervised.
Moreso, I also believe that every household should be required to at least have a service rifle in it with reasonable amounts of munitions. Every head of household should be required to keep, maintain and know how to use said armament. Every nation should have it's own military conscription system required of it's citizenry. Those that choose to forego, should have the right to do so, but will be forbidden from certain rights and privileges of citizenship (voting, partaking in social welfares, holding political office) Upon finishing required military conscription, citizens should be expected to be a part of a national individual ready reserve militia for the purpose of homeland security and disaster management.
tl;dr: guns should be a normal and accepted part of everyday life.
