I like the concepts behind vaporwave more from a philosophical standpoint, and will continue to think about the concepts presented. I think that vaporwave is only a phase of a certain idea that producers are trying to communicate, and the ways of presenting it are so drastically advancing that the name of the genre has to change to prevent confusion (while extra-ironically creating some at the same time).
My favorite vaporwave music is not even vaporwave. Blank Banshee 0
It's about the aesthetic, whether in a social-cultural perspective, art, or music; trapped in the dystopian utopia.
