It seems that the entire construct of western civilization at the moment is cut out for a very specific type of person. Charisma and the ability to bullshit seem to be the keys to success. Obviously charisma has always been good for human relations, but in the climate where you have to go through rigorous interview processes and your ability o land a job rests on how well you can speak about yourself literally only suits this very specific type.
I know a guy who got a job at google straight out of high school because of his wizadry of bullshiting/ charisma.
