Who here /fasting/ rn? And why do you fast? Into my fourth week of eating minimally, only eating if I can't avoid social convention to with family who might commit me. Something about feeling hunger and dwelling on what it means to be hungry, empathizing with the impoverished and the majority of human history somehow gives me a feeling of belonging I can't replicate otherwise.
