HEY THERE!
I'll pay somebody $100 via paypal if I can get a precise explanation in how the technology will work for a device that I want to make, which will be a tortilla chip heater:
You open the lid, pour 'em in, push the one easy button to fry em up, and dump 'em out for an easy restaurant style experience. You press it once for around 300F degrees, then it'll cool down to a steady 100F degrees or so, which will then auto shut off after 5 minutes.
I'tll be done by convection heating, similar to this vaporizer here:
http://www.storz-bickel.com/shop_us/en/crafty-portable-app-vaporizer/I'm not looking for how the concept of convection heating works - I can research that myself - rather I need to know exactly how they engineered it to heat up to certain temperature upon pressing a button, as well as how it automatically turns off, after a period of time after reaching the temperature.
My idea will be different in that it'll reach a certain temp, then cool down to another lower temp..THEN will shut off.
Attached pic is what I'm imagining the device will look thus far, to illustrate what I'm talking about (lid not pictured)
