That being said if youre a highschoolfag you should definitely take it, placement out of freshman calc is more valuable than you might think. You can fill the vacancy down the road with an additional upper-division or graduate course in your major/research area, or just take something you have a casual interest in and couldn't be bothered to learn on your own.
