Is there any chemical reaction that depletes oxygen from a room without massively increasing CO2 levels? Or a reaction that depletes both CO2 and O2 and is reasonably cheap and availible?

Burning steel wool binds oxygen without CO2 production doesn't it? But how much? Anything more efficient?
