Good day /sci/
I just quit my job.
I have the opportunity to fully devote to independent studentship 8 hours a day for the next 3 years of my life. I want to know what area of study I should go into. I'm going to be gathering the opinions of the various boards and comparing for the next few months.
I'm predicting you guys (in addition to tying to burst my bubble or ridicule me) are going to say maths, as it is the purist form of study/ foundational to all sciences/ makes money. But I'm also considering compelling alternatives.
Background:
26 yr. old (inb4 too old).
After 8 years in the military I have over saved $100,000 and assuming steady living expenses I have no pressing need to work.
