I'm doing a team project and we're supposed to evaluate open source software. We have three products we are to evaluate, but we are unsure as to how, especially in regards to measuring and a scoring system.

Does anyone have some advice on evaluating OSS and scoring systems?

Thus far we are going to make use of maturity models like OSMM coupled with a catalogue of features with a simple 0-2 scale or some such.
