As of now, perhaps one of the most effective interventions for autism is Applied Behavior Analysis. Basically, it modifies autistic children's behavior.
Why isn't it used as a form of behavior control/"mind" control on normal people? Just think about it. Various patterns of reinforcements could be developed, each leading to some desired behavior or pattern of thought.
