Like, I'm not saying that as some anti-sjw troll, the paper is actually bad. It has no hypothesis to confirm or reject, and the conclusion is:

Because that's fucking relevant. "Some people are sometimes mean to each other" is not a fucking article, people!
They cite "William Smith (2009) recognizes that" without a fucking word that WS2009 was studying black, not latin(a/o) students, who have a very different experience with racism. Additionally:

Things have changed. Is there still a problem? I don't know, and this paper gives me no confidence that the authors know, either.
In short: The whole paper can be summed up as "If you ask people whether they sometimes get treated badly based on their unique characteristica, they answer 'yes' and that makes us sad." Get out.
