Alright look, I'm not the smartest but in the last month I've really acquiired a drive to obtain knowledge. Guy I know said "If you want to look smart buy a mac book and sit in starbucks". But the problem here is that I want to be smart, not look smart. I've never really read books before or put any effort into studying, I'm 21 btw, but I was wandering if anyone could help me out with some good books relating to Electronics or just maths in general. I'm hoping to start a degree next year and just want to get some prep in as my course at the minute leaves a lot of room for me to learn more on the side. anything that could help transition form pre degree to degree level that you guys could recommend?
also, how realistic is a PhD level qualification? I mean can anyone do it, with the right ammount of work, or is it only for those who devote their every second to their subject? Thinking way too far ahead of myself here but I'm keeping all options open as long as I can
sorry if I sound like a pleb
pic related, started reading recently, enjoying this soo far!
