You need fertilizer to grow human sustaining crops, too, dingus. Without livestock, where the fuck is that fertilizer going to come from? I guess we can do like China and poison our people with human waste, or we can continue to use shitty land for animal feed, and continue to fertilize and rotate crops on the actual tractable land, get meat in the mix, get milk, cheese, butter, yogurt and fertilizer, and use that fertilizer to grow both feed for the animals, and feed for the humans. That's just taking into account cows. What about sheep, goats, chickens, etc? They can all live on basically the same shit, provide us with wider variety in proteins, and have different nutrients they can give back to the fucking soil as fertilizer. Compost isn't enough, especially when you're talking about feeding at LEAST 300 million.
