I'm currently in high school and I've never seen calculus before (In fact I'm not going to take calculus untill august 2016) and I want some solid basis and a deep understanding in the precalc topics not just being able to "plug and chug"
I'm currently solving/planning to solve this books:
-Algebra- A. Baldor (It's the most popular Algebra book in spanish, not quite sure if there's an english translation) + Algebra: Beginning and Intermediate Richard N. Aufmann, Joanne Lockwoodas a complement to the first one
-Geometry and trigonometry-A. Baldor
-Schaum's outline of set theory and related topics
And I might look for another geometry book that focuses more in the analytic aspect.
I'm I on the right path /sci?
What would you change/add?
