Do any of you guys know something about materials science?

It's my only possibility if I wanna get a masters degree in physics afterwards, since I'm legally not allowed to study physics (Bachelor Sc) anymore.

So yeah, basically the courses seem ok, Physics 1-4, Some quantum physics and theoretical physics, mathematical principles, chemistry 1-4 and materials sciences 1-4.

But the branch of materials science seems to be a cuckold branch to me (very niche and boring). And I'd either go into the physics master afterwards or kill myself instead of staying in the materials science branch. (They made one of those videos advertising the branch and they basically only had some bachelor student explain how copper is a good material for doorhandles cause it kills bacteria, and one ing. who bragged about how niche it is)

Did someone make some experiences? Can you share your thoughts on it?
