5 years ago, trolling meant making somebody mad over the internet without them figuring out that your goal was precisely to make them mad. It was a balancing act of subtlty and improvisation.
Today, trolls think trolling just means getting anyone to reply to your thread at all. No one in this thread got mad, with the possible exception of
