I'm not stupid by any stretch of the imagination, just was in a bad environment dealing with fucks like you every day that have no idea how fucking good they have it and taking everything for granted because I was having a tough time at home. I failed nearly every class in hs because I didn't care, couldn't sleep (due to fighting parents or worrying where my next meal would come from, having to make sure my mom didn't die from alcohol poisoning, etc). I've been working since I was 14, put myself through community college after getting my GED and now I'm working on my BS while active duty in the Navy and raising a kid in a stable, dual income home. Maybe I'll never get a job in my field, but I'm guessing the contacts I've made here are liking me more than some idiot that has no work experience and likes to talk down to someone over something as trivial as high school performance.
