I'm a math major who decided to learn about quantum mechanics. It was all just Fourier analysis and mathematical reasoning. I'm pretty sure that physics is basically math in disguise.

if you really have a "undying hatred" of math, and "love" physics, chances are you don't know as much about physics as you think you do.

if you really got a formal education in physics, one that allows you to grasp what's it's really about rather than just absorbing facts like a sponge (or in your case, a high school student) you would very quickly grow to hate it.

so basically you're fucked, go with psychology or other liberal arts shit. or go learn to appreciate and truly appreciate math.
