Hello post-grad, post-doc and maybe even faculty anons.
I'm interested in hearing about other people's opinions on their time in academia thus far.
What do you like most about your time spent in the ivory tower?
What do you like least?
What is/was your advisor like during your time under them and were they associate/tenure/full?
Do you think the above influenced how your research group operated? If so, how?
If you're (and I know I may be reaching here) faculty, what type of group mentality do you foster? What stage are you at and how has it impacted the way you work?
Is publish or perish a common theme among all STEM fields, or do you find your field to be different?
>Anything else you'd like to discuss/get off your chest.
- Sincerely, Mat. Sci. Guy
