If you're trying to memorize, there's nothing you can do. You're either not smart enough to memorize everything you need, or your mind is completely full of information. The latter is more unlikely, unless you're crippled due to some sort of brain damage.
You don't have to have good recall if you can understand how to think. It will just take you more time to reach the correct answer than if you'd memorized it. You might even be smarter than someone who just memorized everything they need to pass the next test; you can pass any test.
