I'm in a pure math program and I've realized I hate academia. The idea of academia is great but in real life it's a bureaucratic shithole that abuses every single member of its system, from freshmen to faculty. I need to get out.

How do I transition to industry without having wasted my progress so far? I know I could get an entry level software dev job easily but I could have gotten that with my BS, or if not then my MS. I don't work in analysis so quanting is pretty much out. What's left for math PhDs in industry? Anything?
