There is no indication we could use it for FTL communication. We'd have to be able to maintain the entangled state after measurement and we'd have to be able to influence which particle will have up spin and which will have down before we do the measurement. Current understanding of quantum mechanics says these things are not possible.
Things could change and maybe someday it'll work somehow but I wouldn't hold my breath.
