Please help! How do you find the charge Q, on the 5microfarad capacitor after a long time (t->infinity)?
Formulas:
V=IR. Q=CV. Q=CIR
I found the current after a long time to be .819A, but i dont know which resistors to use to find the resistance.
Teacher solution was:
Q=(5×10^-6)(20/5)
Where did that (20/5) come from? Was he high?
Also he found the charge on the 3micro farad capacitor to be Q=(3x10^-6)(.819)(1.2).
Is the resistance 1.2 because the capacitor is between the 2 ohm and 3 ohm resistors?
