Can anyone explain this to me? I have no idea how you predict if something will obey Boyle's gas law or not. I used google and saw that NO2 doesn't, but do not know why and don't know which other ones will not obey Boyle's law.

Which of these is best approximated by an ideal gas

We can eliminate any complex molecules because that shit's gay. SO we have N2 and He

N2 is honestly pretty close to He, but I assume they think N2 is worse because it is polyatomic

Helium you inbred social justice majors.

Noble gases behave quite similarly to the ideal gas behavior that is implied in the Boyle's Law.

Btw there is no such thing as He2, it's unstable and breaks apart.

Fun fact, He literally flies away from the earth atmosphere (it has a low enough density and the necessary escape velocity) when released so it could possibly end one day. Every time you blow a Helium balloon up you literally expel that gas to space.

Yeah but Noble Gases are way more "ideal" than anything else.

Also, that He is such a tiny nigglet they don't even properly interact with each other, making it the perfect noble gas.

They float alone, in space, without ever meeting other ones of them except through weak forces, never actually even bonding with any other atom for the rest of their existence.

Personally I would say He would be the answer because it would occupy much less of a space than N2 and thus in terms of a van deer waals gas, It would not experience much effect from the v-nB effect.
