meant to be common in bacterial sepsis.
imo, never really see it as often as its impiled to be seen, given the huge list of aetiological causes.
but for sepsis though, if they're far enough to get DIC, they're pretty much already too far gone and there's other things to worry about.
not sure about stillbirths though.
