it simply means the light from arrival reached them before the light of departure.

okay so it took literally one hundredth of a second to travel 20,000ly miraculously.
I have still physically arrived AFTER my departure, however before the light depicting my departure arrives from point A to point B, 20,000 years pass.

I superceded the speed of light, however when my departure is whitnessed, it will be the snap departure and popping out of existence. that's all. I have already arrived, there was no light able to reflect off of my travel as it was unable to contact long enough to even refract, let alone reflect, so it would be apparent that I just stopped existing at point A.
the light from when I hit subliminal velocities at point B is able to interact, and so from point A and point B I would snap back into existence at point B.
