Winter is coming...
So I need some kind of a portable heater for my bedroom, oil heater, coil heater, fan enforced heater, infrared heater, you name it.

So I was wondering, if I direct the infrared heater towards my body, is it gonna affect my skin? I thought infrared waves damage your skin, don't they? How safe are the infrared heaters over a prolonged exposure?
I also don't like noisy heaters, so any heater that has a fan is off the table for me.
