I've been using Always Discreet, which is a misnomer, because they are not particularly discreet. But they are reinforced at the leg, so I have yet to have a leak in one. So that's nice.

Going with store brands is difficult. Diapers with the tapes usually perform better than pullup-style ones. The super-ABDL-styled diapers usually cost a lot more than the standard diapers online, so brands like Molicare and Abena (especially the middle-tier line, like Molicare Super and Abena 3) could be an option if all you've looked at the prices of are the fancy ABDL-themed ones. Still, diapers aren't cheap.

What I'd really love is some cloth diapers. But that isn't terribly practical, since they're $30 apiece and I don't live alone.

Well, that's another matter altogether. Cloth diapers are expensive up-front, but over time they become cheaper. At least that's the common wisdom. When you average in the water and electricity cost of having to wash them every use... I haven't run the numbers, but they're probably still cheaper over time.
Much thicker though! Which is a good AND bad thing. Definitely not a good thing while around others though.

Yeah, I don't really know about the logistics of washing cloth diapers. Like, could you just toss them in with socks and the rest of the whites? I would think so. Still, every laundry day would be full of ultimate paranoia and looking over your shoulder.
