Went to see a counsellor again for the first time in a month. Last time I did they chucked me into a psychiatric ward because they thought I was "At risk to myself". Easily the most soulcrushing place I've been. Scared me from going back but seeing as though I go off my meds next week, along with exams coming up I felt as though I had little choice

Just a regular amber ale, $2.60 per litre, FYO, really nice stuff. They do other beers too (Their double IPA is simply divine) but this one was the cheapest, and seeing as though I'm a poor student that's what gets bought
Basically I explained my situation and what I've been doing to remedy my severe anxiety. Only had half an hour and seeing as though it was a new guy (Didn't want to go back to my old one because duh) that's basically all I expected.

Ah, I see. Did he provide any insight or anything to help you for the time being? If he didn't, I can sort of see why considering it was only a half hour session. Though, I would assume he'd at least propose something.

That actually sounds familiar, strangely. Not too many beers come here to the U.S. from NZ, however an abundance of NZ hops have shown up in numerous beers around the country.
