Now if you knew anything about the case you would know that Wells made it clear he would NOT be required to hand over his phone at any point. Nor was he informed that would be any negative repercussions for not handing over his phone if he exercised his right not to do so.
Serving to compound this issue is the matter of leaked info from the media. Brady had many of his emails leaked despite the "assurance" from investigators that all of his information not relevant to the case would be kept private. So essentially if he turns his phone over, based upon all of the leaks in the past and the fickle nature of the media he knows any private info he does not want seen by thousands of strangers, say dick pics, personal information, etc will be.
On top of all this still, is the fact that any relevant messages between Brady and any involved parties were made available via having access to their phones. I'm not sure what you delusional people think they would find on that phone? Do you think he'd just be texting his dad, "YEAH HAD THOSE GUYS DEFLATE THE FUCK OUT OF THOSE FOOTBALLS."?
All of the evidence suggests that Brady and the Patriots fully cooperated in the investigation. The judge knew the NFL had no evidence and made that clear, the NFL and Ted Wells knew they didn't have any evidence, hence why they allowed incorrect information to be leaked to garner support from the public who generally do not like the Patriots.
So if you know anything about the case you know that there was nothing to suggest the Patriots did not cooperate or commit any infraction in general. you know the leadership of an organization is corrupt when a clearly biased report even clears the "offending" organization itself of any wrongdoing, yet they are still given the biggest fine in NFL history and lose two crucial draft picks.
