Why don't they just put the top 20 European teams in a league? Instead of making them play in the champions league and their own domestic league.

One reason off the top of my head is complacency since this league would replace the champions league money then some shitter clubs may become even shitter due to always being in this group of elites

i think there would be the top 20 teams in the world after 3 seasons the top 17 teams with the best record stay in the league and the bottom 3 would be relegated to the lower european league (West Ham,Celta Vigo ETC) and the top 3 in the lower league up up you know the basic league thing and a maximum of 5 teams from the same league
