Benfica 2000 - 2000

União de Leiria 2001 - 2002

Porto 2002 - 2004

Chelsea 2004 - 2007

Internazionale 2008 - 2010

Real Madrid 2010- 2013

Chelsea 2013 - ?

He is 52 now, so he can probably still work for 13-15 years and because he seems to mostly do 3 year stints he could work for 4 or 5 clubs. Name the clubs.

Possibly Man City to stick it to Chelsea/Abramovich if they fire him.

But he'll find himself in the same sort of situation as Chelsea or Madrid with the owners.

Madrid has a really big social and media mass that think that they're over everything else. So all the stupid things that Mouyes did and said at every other club and nobody cared about, at Madrid were treated as universal dogma. He was a paranoid crazy ego with milions of people behind him saying that whatever he did or said was right, so he ended up losing perspective of everything.

Totally irrational, all violence in the game, all shit in press conference, everything. With every action all the media aproved him and a big part of the fans would say he was absolutely right.

One of his players go crazy and just try to kill a rival, no ball near him. He gets rejected and Mourinho complains about playing 1 down. And misteriously, the media doesn't show why that guy was ejected, just talks that Madrid was, unfairly, playing one down.

There's just full of examples.

Well, thats more of a spanish thing. We do not like to look at long term, you need to give good results since the first moment.

At top level, Barça and Madrid, those results have to be not just good but better than your rivals: if you're a Real Madrid coach and won the league, but Barça won the CL, your season was rubbish and vice versa.

Anyways, he coached 3 years, its quite a long time. The problem was that Madrid fired many coaches under Barcelona domination , there was no one better, there was the conception that if the portuguese cant do it, nobody could. So they gave Mourinho absolute control on the club and that helped him to go crazy: he was the last bullet of a bunch of desperate people being humiliated by his historic rival.

But 3 years being the RM coach is quite a long time, really consuming. I'm sure he never had and never will have again such pressure.
