I suppose it's easier from the outside looking in to be that matter-of-factual about it but they're not AS good at football nor rugby which are really the predominant sports we care about in the UK, and there's no contest between the 2 countries in cricket (though I don't care about cricket nor rugby personally).
Andy Murray definitely has tennis wrapped though, and Chris Hoy is a great shout.
