I get that jays fans are butthurt about AA not coming back. But you need to understand it took him 6 years to get to the playoffs and most of the team is returning next year. We need to realize that Shapiro wants to win and he won't do something to fuck up the team intentionally. My biggest concern is he hires a first time GM and just blows it the fuck up. Gibby I'm indifferent about. I don't hate him but I do not think he was as valuable as AA.

Royals fan here....I'll tell you this: The BlueJays were the one team that scared me going into the playoffs. That was one Hell of a fight, and could EASILY have gone the other way. Having a new front office COULD screw things up, but I'd hate to think that the Toronto ownership is stupid enough to let that happen.

Pretty much what he said. I just wish we could come up with a better rotation. Yordano can't keep his shit together for more than a couple of starts at a time, Volquez is solid but not spectacular most of the time, Duffy COULD be a terrific lefty, but hasn't gotten his shit together yet. If we had a couple of studs in the rotation we'd be a beast. As it is, we're just very good.

You don't need to get better. You need to sustain what you already have. You can get by with a mediocre rotation if you have a bullpen like that. Basically if you don't score by the 5th or 6th inning KC wins because their bullpen will kill you. The mets have the literal opposite. God tier rotation and a mediocre bullpen besides Familia.
